We are back with our second season of And Now It's! The Head of MTN told us they were unhappy with the lack of diversity on our cast and forced us to add some new members. Then he went ahead and scheduled some auditions for us. It got a little awkward!
On the season 1 finale, Bobby explains the origins of Hanukkah to his gentile cast mates, and interviews his Grandpa about Hanukkah traditions from the old country. It's our most action packed episode yet, you'll be asking yourself if Michael Bay produced this episode (Spoiler alert: he did). Here is the episode:
We also put together a clip show where Bacon and Bobby share some of their favorite moments, and some never before seen footage sees the light of day for the first time, including a hilarious blooper reel! Here is the clip show:
Our ninth episode was a very special one, it was our election special! A nice bit of relief from the doom and gloom of the real thing, Kujo and Jorilla square off to be the top write in candidate and we hear from multiple failed third party candidates!
Episode 8 of And Now It's, titled The Kujual Suspects, aired September 28, 2016.
To make amends for the events of the Kujo's loose episode in which he trashed our set and killed our friend Dave Eckblad, Kujo invited the entire cast to his cage home for a friendly game of poker and to brainstorm some new ideas for the show. The episode features some of the highest stakes poker you will ever see, plus an ad for a new restaurant, a relationship advice segment called Gwydding It On, an all new installment of Luna Seasons, an interview with cast member Jorilla, and a recounting (as told by Bobby) about joining a cult in the woods.
Episode 7 of And Now It's, titled The And Now It's Olympics Special, aired August 17, 2016.
Aren't you sick and tired of seeing perfect human specimens compete for country and glory? Isn't it time average schmos, you know real salt of the earth, overweight, bald, sweaty people like you and me had a chance to compete in silly contests? My friends, the wait is over. The And Now It's Olympics Special is all that and more. Join Bi Waverly and Bobby Smiles at the And Now It's Sports Network for this glimpse of real life athletics.
Episode 6 of And Now It's, titled "What The Heck?!" aired on August 3, 2016.
This episode features our craziest interview yet, with local filmmakers Dan Schneidkraut and RP Whalen (plus even more bonus dudes) as we discuss the film Vore King, a documentary Schneidkraut made about Whalen's monster porn series. The episode also features the debut of Bobby's So You Think You Kahn Dance series (we had to change the song for Youtube unfortunately), as well as the comedic style of Boardwalk Bill and Jorilla, and we round it out with another installment of Luna Seasons.
Episode 5 of And Now It's, titled "Kujo's Loose" aired on July 6.
This episode is widely agreed upon to be our best episode yet, but it came with a cost. We keep Kujo, one of our cast members, locked up in a cage in the studio. It's for his own good. But when we were making this episode, the unthinkable happened...he got out! He caused a great amount of destruction and unfortunately he fatally wounded our guest, but thankfully today he is back in his cage, where he belongs. The episode features Dave Eckblad (in his final interview ever before he passed away, sad to say). The episode also has the second installment of "Luna Seasons" (on the subject of stinkin' armpits), an advertisement for a new Italian/Vietnamese fusion restaurant called Phogeddaboutit, a special message about friendship and two person bicycles, a Ween cover from Hola Agua, and more! Episode 4 of And Now It's aired on June 22, 2016.
This episode features interviews with Minneapolis cable access icon and Spiritual Mayor of Minneapolis Toblerone Shinobi, as well as local musician BadNRad. This episode marks the debut of a new series from 11 year old wunderkid Luna Hastur called "Luna Seasons" and a commercial for a special chili restaurant. All that plus a little comedy makes up episode 4! Watch it below:
Episode 3 of And Now It's, titled "Jorilla Warfare" aired on June 8, with a re-run scheduled for June 15.
This episode features interviews with The Underground is Massive author Michaelangelo Matos, as well as burlesque performer Musette! The Mistress of Mischief. The episode also features a spectacular performance by Musette from my variety show at Patrick's Cabaret last year. The episode begins with a throwback to my days with MPLS.TV with an ad for "The Kahndom". There's also some "comedy" from Hamil Griffin-Cassidy, more political hogwash from Jorilla, plus an ad for a special new fitness/life improvement program. Also, there's more than that! Watch the full episode below:
Episode 2 of And Now It's has come and gone. Luckily it is here to stay on YouTube! Of our original 3 episodes, this one shines brightest, thanks to the star power of child star Luna Hastur.
In this episode, Bobby interviews Luna - though it doesn't go quite as planned - and Bacon interviews local bad ass boss lady Theresa Purcell about her many endeavors. There's also some comedy from ANI favorite Sam Spadino, some business tips from kids, a short film by the Schwartz brothers, a test of the Jorilla Broadcast System (TM), and much more! Check it out below:
